Sunday Afternoon Chopin!  (Cover Edition)

Chopin -Mazurka in F Sharp Minor, Op. 6, No. 1

Performed by Béla Fleck, Banjo & Joshua Bell, Violin

I came across this and at first I was quite sceptical (I mean… Chopin on Banjo?). But I have to admit, I love it.  I’m big into transcriptions these days, I think they help to keep old music alive. So, give it a listen and see what you think :)

I love it.

so weeeeird that this popped up on my dash…i’ve been obsessed with this album for the past few weeks! it’s brilliant!!

This is absolutely delightful and does nothing but reinforce my belief that Chopin sounds lovely on every instrument except the piano.

oh man this is lovely
